Near Kingdom Young Adults

Looking for a place to connect, grow, and find real community? Near Kingdom is the young adults gathering at Coast City Church — a community of 18 to 25 year olds who are pursuing Jesus, building authentic relationships, and figuring out this season of life together. It's a space designed for worship, meaningful conversations, and the kind of moments that shape who you're becoming. If you're somewhere between high school and the rest of your life — chasing a degree, starting a career, navigating big questions about faith and identity, or just trying to find your people in Oceanside — you belong here.

What to expect

What to expect

Near Kingdom gathers every Sunday at 6:30pm.

  • Powerful worship — live music, lights low, room full of people singing like they mean it

  • A short, relevant message — biblical, honest, and built for where you actually are in life

  • Time to hang out and connect — before, after, and around everything else

Show up however you can. Bring a friend. Bring three friends. Come solo and walk in not knowing anyone — that happens every week, and you won't be alone for long.

who it's for

That includes the person who grew up in church and is figuring out what they actually believe now. The one who hasn't been in a church in years and isn't sure what brought them tonight. The one who just moved to North County and is desperate to find community. The one who's been a Christian forever but realized they don't have any close friends who share that faith. The one who's thriving and the one who's barely holding it together. You don't have to have it figured out. You don't have to dress a certain way. You don't have to know anyone walking in. Come as you are.

Why Community Matters in This Season

Near Kingdom exists because none of us were meant to navigate this season alone. We were made for community — for friendships that actually go deeper than surface, for people who'll pray for you and call you out and celebrate with you and show up when life falls apart. That kind of community doesn't happen by accident. It happens when you keep showing up.
