There's a place for you on the team. At Coast City Church, none of what happens on a Sunday morning — or any day of the week — happens without volunteers. Every Sunday is the result of a small army of people showing up to serve. If you've been wondering how to plug in, this is one of the best ways to do it.

Why We Serve

We believe that when our hands stay busy, our hearts stay soft.

Serving isn't just about getting things done — though plenty gets done. It's about who we become in the process. There's something that happens when you stop being a spectator on Sunday morning and start being part of the team. Your faith grows. Your community deepens. Your sense of purpose sharpens. You start to feel like you actually belong here, because you do.

The church was never meant to be a place we attend. It's a family we're part of, and a body we serve in. Whatever your gifts, your story, your schedule, or your season — there's a place for you on the team.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering here at Coast City Church. We are so excited to partner with you in serving our amazing community. There are a few steps to get you plugged in:

Fill Out the Join the Team Form Tell us a bit about yourself, your background, and what you're interested in. This is where you let us know you're ready to serve.

Join the Team Form

Complete a background check. All volunteers go through a background check to ensure the safety of our community. 

Once you've completed the steps above, a team leader will contact you to set up a one-on-one conversation and move forward on getting you involved.

That conversation is a chance to talk through your gifts, your interests, and your availability — and to find the right fit for the right team.
