What to Expect
Visiting for the First Time
We're so glad you're thinking about visiting. If you've never been to Coast City Church before — or if you haven't been to a church in a long time — we want to make your first Sunday amazing!
What Your Sunday Will Look Like
You'll find us on the corner of El Camino Real and Douglas at 420 N. El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92058.
Our parking team will greet you the moment you pull in and direct you to the right parking area. You can't miss them — they're the friendly faces in vests waving you in.
On your way in, stop by the Connection Point outside if you have any questions. Our hosts are there to welcome first-time guests, answer anything, and help you find a seat inside. If you have kids to check in, head to the Children's Building to the left of the auditorium and our kids team will welcome you and get your kids checked in!
Service kicks off with meaningful, contemporary worship music followed by a time of prayer. Then you'll hear a message from Scripture from one of our teaching pastors. After service, there's an opportunity to respond — through prayer, giving, or getting connected with others. The whole service runs just over an hour.
We'd love to meet you before you leave. Make sure to stop by the Connection Point on your way out so we can say hi, answer any questions, and help you take whatever next step feels right.

Coast City Church is a fun group of people representing the diversity of Oceanside. You're likely to bump into a school teacher, student, military member, business owner, parent, a grandpa — you name it. There's a good chance you'll fit right in.
Tuxes or tanks — it's all good here. We're not focused on appearance. Just be you.
We believe children aren't the future church — they're the church now. Our trained, friendly staff is ready to care for infants, toddlers, and elementary-aged kids in a fun, secure, age-appropriate environment. Your child's safety is our top priority, and all volunteers complete a thorough background check before they ever step into a classroom.
Yes! Coast City Español meets on Sundays at 2:15pm
Not at all. We won't ask you to stand, introduce yourself, or do anything that makes you uncomfortable. Feel free to participate at your own pace—we're simply glad you're here.
Giving is an opportunity for those who call Coast City Church home to worship through generosity. If you're visiting, please don't feel any obligation to give. Your presence is truly our gift.
No worries—we love kids, and we understand that little ones have big moments! You're welcome to step out if you need a break, and our Coast City Kids team is here to help make your family's experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
