“coast city sunset”

When you hear the word “church“, what is the first thing you think?  Is it a memory of growing up in church, maybe attending Sunday school or listening to your favorite pastor speak?  Maybe for you, you feel disappointment or a sense of pain because of an experience you had with people in the church.  All of these feelings are felt across our culture when people think of church.  From Great thoughts to life changing stories along with bad memories and a lingering sense of hurt, we all see church in a different way.  Can we change those thoughts and memories?  Probably not, however, we can work towards having a healthy perspective.

We understand fully that people will fail but God remains the same, His love never moves and His passion for us, his kids, never changes!  When we understand God’s love towards all of us, it allows us to move past the bad experiences and embrace the life He wants us to live.  We can also learn from the past and build towards growing a healthy God centered church, never perfect, but always heading in the right direction.

Here’s what we want you to think when you hear, “Coast City Church“;

We want you to think purpose and freedom.  It’s available to any and all of us.  We want you to think, “church is actually FUN!”  I enjoy spending my time there.  We want you to think, “life is better when we live it out together”.  As Humans we were made to do life together, not isolated and alone.  We want you to always know, that as a church we accept you however you come, all the good and all the bad, why?  Because we know that God never leaves us the way He finds us!  No judgement allowed.

We, at Coast City Church, are lazer focused on bringing hope, to being hope dealers to our city and surrounding area.  What would happen when a group of people like ours from Coast City Church gave everything they have to provide hope and healing to their people and community?  The answer to that question is something we are set on finding out.  Our cause was and is the cause of Christ, to bring that high octane fuel for the soul called, HOPE.  I am thankful for the hope of Christ as it has changes my life daily.  That hope gives me the motivation and will to be everything I know God wants me to be and that hope will do the same thing for you.

Hope Together.
